If you answered yes to a majority of the items above, you may be a highly sensitive person. Around 20% of the population have this trait. That's 1 in 5 people! A highly sensitive person (HSP) was born neurodivergent (our brains work differently), having a heightened response to physical, emotional, and/or social stimuli. Simply put, our central nervous systems are extra sensitive to our environment.
HSPs often feel like they don't fit in with the rest of society—that they are flawed and alone. Neither of those things are true. And to prove it, I am offering group sessions for sensitive people, to grow a sensitive community. Come and learn more about this trait (weaknesses and strengths), support each other, and collaborate on how to navigate this ever increasingly harsh world.
Some topics we will cover:
emotional overwhelm
boundaries
work
relationships
controlling negative energy
self-care
narcissists & energy vampires
insomnia & exhaustion
imposter syndrome
perfectionism
empathy/empath
These sessions will evolve as we go, and will vary as much as the people that attend. There are important requirements for these sessions—kindness and a calm, safe space. We are highly sensitive people, after all.
